What an absolutely perfect day to end this week! I had the privilege to work with two adorable little people today; capturing their innocent essences was an absolute blast. Sweet little Chloe was such a girl; I loved every minute of her company! I worked with her first since I knew I had the upper hand and I wanted the session to start off with a positive feel. Her and I talked about singing flowers, lady bugs and being ballerinas. It went far more well then I had anticipated. After some warm up shots, she was giving me pretty smiles, and doing her best ballerina twirl. Once I had her all warmed up and on my side, we divided and almost conquered with her brother. She posed for some pictures with him, but he wasn’t really to thrilled about it just yet. After a few snacks, a rattle shack, and more sisterly-love he relaxed a little and gave us a few decent shots. They did a really great job getting to know me and once that scary introduction was out of the way, they both began to really relax. Cash’s individual portraits were up next, and he did pretty great! His mommy was such a sport, twirling and singing on a street sign to make her little boy happy! Success; we got a smile!!! At this point Chloe had adopted me as one of her girlfriends and wanted to hold my hand along with her mommy’s. That’s a huge moment for me as a photographer. It only took me twenty minutes for my little clients to be comfortable with me and adopt me into their little world. Priceless. We went for a walk, then a skip and ended up at another location where we did some super sweet shots with both of the kiddos; perfect perfect. They ended up eating puffs off the ground, but it was all in good nature; after all, they are just kids!! I’ve seen kids eat worse! After these sweet shots, the last stop of the day, and I announce with much enthusiasm, that at this point it still hadn’t rained on our parade! A couple more shots of the kids being together and as separates, and we were able to call it a day! On the way back to the car, Chloe decide to leave her mama behind and just go skipping with me. We chatted about our hair and how crazy mine was from the wind. We chatted about her dancing, and how much fun she had, and her Hello Kitty doll. A perfection session was topped off with a huge from sweet little Chloe. Perfection. Thank you so much Yeng and Richard for trusting in me to be a part of this sweet time in your lives, and for letting me capture their adorable childhood essence! The photos came out stunning; I am absolutely in love!
Enjoy.
