I am always so excited to work with this beautiful family! Now that the twins are old enough, and the weather is lovely, I thought it would be wonderful to take them outside for their third month session. I really wanted to highlight the beautiful wharf and docking area with all of the boats. It proved a little tough for me to find someone to allow me access to the private docks down to the boats so I made due with a spot that overlooked all of the boats. It wasn’t until the babies had enough and we started to walk that Vinny (the dad) asked another guy going into the private area, if we could follow him in. Thank goodness he asked, and we were able to get in!! I am so excited because it’s exactly what I wanted. At this point the sun was high and the babies were sleepy, but we got a great handful of shots and all agreed to take a two hour break for the kiddos to nap. When we met back up, we decided to meet near their home which has a beautiful trail that goes into the wooded area; a perfect backdrop. I was so comfortable and familiar with this type of backdrop, I was able to capture a million beautiful images, and had a blast doing so! The babies seemed to enjoy themselves a lot more here as well; a few smiles, and lots of mommy and daddy cuddles! Thank you so much Vinny and Ruth for continuing to invite me back out to photograph your beautiful family. You all have truly become such a very important part of our career, and more importantly, our lives! Can NOT wait to see you again!
Enjoy this beautiful family’s session!

Like many clients that I am currently working with, April and Daniel had a rough start with a professional photographer, but I assured them they wouldn’t regret a thing with me. Their session was very quick, but in this case that was a good thing! The weather was a little warm but I found a wonderful shady spot that looked exactly how April and I had hoped for! Their little boy was absolutely adorable and was the best little boy I have worked with to this day; no joke! Together the three of them made a very beautiful family and even if it was a little “unorthodox” to have a child at an engagement session I completely welcome it every time because little ones are 110% a part of this wedding and a part of our lives!! Their session came out beautiful and I could only anticipate the same beautiful photos for my own personal family session in the future! Enjoy!

This little sweetheart is very near and dear to our hearts! We have worked with her mommy, daddy, and brother all the way back to their engagement photos to now; newborn photos. We’ve grown very found of this beautiful and loving family! Sweet newborn “M” was not the typical newborn during her session whatsoever! She absolutely adored being held, more then a newborn should even be able to understand at this age. She was very particular about everything you did and even said in her presences. She had such a strong, quirky, and very sweet little personality unlike any newborn I’ve worked with. The only newborn that I could come close to comparing personalities with her was, Zoey, my daughter; she was just like this! Little “M” did pretty good considering, we were able to get the basic pretty shots and I was even able to get an outstanding shot of her beautiful bright eyes wide open and focused on me!! I had a wonderful time spending her session getting to know her little personality, talking with her mommy and Nana. I hope to see you ALL again very soon!! In the meantime, enjoy the beautiful portraits of such a very unique little lady!

They say one of the best compliments to a small business owner is a referral, and this cutie pie and his family is just that. Although that is pretty true, I think the better compliment is a giggle and a smile from such a sweet little client such as this! Nothing warms a photographer’s heart like a grumpy baby turned giggly and smiley with a simple and playful, “aaaachoo, aaaachoo, aaaachooo” from me! He thought is was the greatest thing in the world and I think it was definitely a wonderful cherry on top of his super fun session!! He had cake, paper airplanes, a radio flyer wagon, balloons, and an awesome home-made cake his mommy made. Although this little dude thought his cake was the ickiest thing ever and preferred grass over it; his session came out beautifully, and I was able to capture his sweet personality with ease! This family was such a pleasure to work with and I can’t wait till the next time! Enjoy!
This little guy’s session was beyond amazing!! He was sleeping when we got there; he just needed a quick change and was ready for his close up! We spent about a half an hour to an hour tops with a studio setup with him before he protested against any further posing. Once I picked him up after his protest I seen that his little belly button had fallen off finally as his mommy and daddy warned was going to soon. After seeing his belly button I realized that he wasn’t protesting against photos, but rather a pokey belly button on his tummy. After he got cleaned up and had some mommy cuddles, he was all set to go for round two! He did even more amazing then the first round! We got him in the trickiest pose (hands on chin), without any fuss. We were actually able to get three different perspectives (without cropping) on his chin-up pose!! That’s awesome for his mommy and daddy (and for me)!! Just 8 days young this little guy is,by far, my best newborn session. Thank you so much to his amazing mommy and daddy for inviting us to their home to capture their stunning little boy’s newborn portraits and their “new” family portraits! You three are beautiful! Enjoy!

Many of my amazing clients, followers and fans of my photography have grown with the business knowing and loving all of my sweet little baby girl’s milestones. My business bloomed around the time that my daughter was born. Something about her pushed me even more then how far my son’s birth pushed my love and passion for this industry. Together, my children are the reason for why I am so passionate and in love with my career. It’s all for them! So, it only makes sense that I would debut yet another wonderful milestone of my daughter’s; her third birthday!
Like most typical little girls her age, she loves playing dress up, pretend cooking and cleaning, and having tea parties. Tea parties were one of the first “big girl” things that she really got into and still to this day she loves having them with her stuffed animals, her brother, and her mommy and daddy. I asked her what she wanted to do for her birthday and she responded with, “noodle carrots” which we, still to this day, have no idea what that means lol. So, I asked her, “how about a tea party birthday?” and she got all excited; jumping up and down, and said yes! The planning started about six months ago via Pinterest. Pinterest is addicting but it is a wonderful resource for individuals to share their ideas and adventures in crafts and creations. I took everything that I loved from my Pinterest board and put my own little spins on them. To start the birthday excitement, we had to have a tea party birthday portrait session!! She adored taking her “babies” outside and having lunchables with them, mommy, daddy, and her brother. When we started to decorate and bake for her party she was so unbelievably happy. I knew I wasn’t wasting my time one bit on the teeny tiny details of her party! When the big tea party day arrived she was thrilled and, “nerbous” (nervous). Guests started to arrive; Zoey tried to enjoy herself but she was just so bashful at first. About an hour or so into her party her park friend arrived with her mama. Zoey had just blew out her candles and was about to chomp down on some awesome cake when she seen her walk in. She literally flew out of her chair and ran to give her friend a hug! From there on, everybody had a blast! The kids were all going crazy with balloons and when most of the guests left, Zoey and her friend did a little painting together. I can not thank everyone enough for all of the help, support, and love that came with preparing and having Zoey’s party. Thank you!! We can only wish for many more wonderful days like this in the near future!
My sweet little Zoey is now three. I shed a few tears at least two times counting down the days to her birthday. Words can not describe a mother’s love for their child however, pictures just might be able to! Enjoy my little lady’s birthday blog debut!

This sweet little family came to me last year for portraits of their two oldest kiddos. We had a wonderful, almost rainy, session in downtown Lodi last time, but this time I wanted to change it up by taking them out into the wilderness. Yeng, the mommy, showed me a few pictures of inspiration and I immediately knew what we could do! We collaborated and pulled together an awesome theme with props and a cute wardrobe to boot! The theme had a vintage travel flare to it. The main focus was intended to be the baby but when you bring in a whole family, other kiddos, and adorable props it’s absolutely impossible to stay focused on one thing. The kiddos, being three of them, were a little difficult to manage smiles all at one single moment but given the fact I do feel that the photos came out stunning and we captured amazing moments between everyone! Thank you so much Richard and Yeng for choosing me again to photograph your sweet little family!! Enjoy your blog debut!
