Once again the weather was absolutely flawless for a day of photography! It seems like all of a sudden the trees and other plants all decided it was fall; their colors are to die for!! Truly amazing looking, really. My couple today was one of my favorites, a very sweet couple who was actually referred to me! Those people are always the best!! We did their engagement pictures at William Land Park in Sacramento. The couple started off like almost every single couple I have; very uncomfortable and not too sure how to act. After our initial warm up period of shooting, they started to have some fun and relax which resulted in beautiful photos. At all of my consultations I be sure to tell my clients exactly how I work and it goes something like this, “I don’t pose you, I let you two be YOU, I ask for a lot of PDA”. I don’t think people really hear that until they are actually IN the situation lol. Once you actually experience something, that is when you really get a feel for what someone is saying. My photography, especially engagement photography, is about affection and being able to be comfortable expressing that to one another and not necessarily to me. It’s about being able to black out the world around you and focus on the love that is between you two. I just happen to be there to help you figure that out and to capture those moments. Brandon and Diana, I hope that I helped you two get more comfortable with each other, and I hope you had fun!
